update...long overdue

It seems I forgot my blog existed and likewise forgot that anyone read it. Now that it hasn´t been updated in an eternity it´s only natural that I assume that it has long been forgoten by all you chanced to have read it in the past. None the less I decided to update by saying that I have a concert on February 5th.

February 5th at 4pm in Listháskóla I shall perform the entire sibelius, bach gminor, mozart concert #2, and paganini caprice #20.

or rather I´ll try dying....I mean die trying. Be there!! And please let everyone you know about it.

Ah, so people read blogs

I would never have guessed people read blogs. I myself never read blogs, (except for this one Dave5) in fact I didn't even think I would decide to keep my blog updated but if people read it then I might as well.

So this is infact the real beginning of my blog, the previous was just to test the waters (to find out if my teachers read blogs so as not to get caught dissing them)

Somehow I get the feeling though, that now that I know people read these things, that they will stop reading mine. Not that I care.

Well to keep things interesting, it seems the dumb Americans are at it again with their lawsuits, this time suing Apple because the Ipod Nano is too easy to scratch. "iPod nano owners sue Apple over screen issues" Maybe those idiots should take a look at how sturdy the Ipod Nano is and be thankful that it's almost indestructible as found here.

I'll try to update this more than once a month :) maybe even mention how my top secret project it coming along.

Jews know it all

Everyone I meet in Iceland doesn't ask if I'm Jewish, they assume I'm Jewish :p Must be my way of making money and being stingy. Anyway we'll leave it at that. I came across a great Jewish joke.

George W. Bush and the Jews

President Bush calls in the head of the CIA and asks, "How come the Jews know everything before we do?

The CIA chief says, "It's simple. The Jews have an expression, Nu, Vus Tutzuch (English translation: What's Happening). They just ask each other and that's how they find out everything."

Impressed, George W. Bush says he personally wants to go undercover to see how this system works.

So the president gets disguised (the hat, beard, long sideburns etc.) as an Orthodox Jew, and is secretly flown in an unmarked plane to New York where he is secretly picked up in an unmarked car and secretly dropped off in Crown Heights, one of Brooklyn's most Jewish neighborhoods.

As the president stands quietly on a busy street corner, a little old Jewish man comes shuffling along. Bush approaches him and whispers "Nu,Vus Tutzuch?"

The old guy whispers back, "Did you hear that putz Bush is in Brooklyn?"

Saturdays worse than Mondays???

We all hear that Monday mornings are the worst for everyone, and some say Sundays (hung over from parties on Friday and Saturday) and some have their other choices. But almost no one will say that Saturday mornings are the worst for them. I however am the exception... which confirms the rule.

Every Saturday I get to try and wake up in time for my weekly piano rehearsal. It's scheduled for 9:00am but I usually end up waking up at 9:00 which in turn means I arrive there 9:15. Not sure how much more of this my pianist can take. Today was exceptionally wonderful as I had a music theory class at 10 until 12, and then a rehearsal for Beethoven Trio at 12:25, until the 2:00 chamber music lesson for the trio. Whether or not you think it's tiring, it was. I actually was already falling asleep in theory class and my friend Palli had to wake me up by throwing his eraser at my head. :p
